He is presently employed as Associate Professor of Political Science at Department of Political Studies, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, Bihar.
Dr. Alok has done his Doctorate on Arms Purchase and Security Concern of India from South Asian Studies Division, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
A postgraduate in Political Science and Law, Dr. Alok also studied journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.
Dr. Alok is a prolific writer having written a number of books, articles and research papers on issues pertaining to foreign policy, international relations, defence and security, terrorism, and internal conflicts in national and international journals.
